- We had a terrific time at the cottages. Our three girls enjoyed their stay there immensely. They particularly liked the food that Sioned provided on our first and second nights. We highly recommend you try one of her dishes. They loved the landscape as well. We found the cottages to be very comfortable - clean and warm (we were there over the October half term) and Sioned and Gareth were perfect hosts.

- We had such a great time staying at the great cottage, Carreg Y Nant. The cottage is decked out with everything you need for a 5 year old and baby and it's very bright and spacious. Sioned and Gareth clearly understand what parents need to be able to relax on holiday, i.e safe play areas for the kids and hot tub for the parents! Sioned was great for recommending places to go and eat. We highly recommend this as a place to stay!

- We would all thoroughly recommend this gorgeous cottage, Carreg Y Nant, where the attention to detail is fantastic. In a tranquil location, with a fabulous hot tub and a superb play area for children. Thank you Sioned and Gareth for making sure our every need was catered for. We must also mention the local pub, The Eagle Inn which serves great food.

- We had a wonderful week here, the cottage was a perfect place to relax and Sioned made us feel very welcome. After a long day's walking the hot tub was put to good use - a fabulous treat. We were joined for one night by our brother and sister in law who described the cottage as a "top gaff!". A well equipped and beautifully presented holiday home in a quiet and picturesque location, we would definitely recommend a stay here.

- We decided to book a romantic weekend holiday at the very last minute to celebrate my birthday and found it very difficult to book anything reasonably priced with a hot tub at such short notice in North Wales. Thankfully I stumbled across Bala Cottages and Careg Y Nant was still available. Sioned offered a really good last minute deal that we couldn't refuse and with her enthusiasm and generous spirit we knew we were in for a wonderful time! We arrived on a beautiful sunny day to a gorgeous cottage with a chilled bottle of bubbly in the fridge and a sweet treat of ginger cake and fudge, compliments of Sioned; a lovely touch that really made us feel welcome. Within no time at all we were wrapped up in our white fluffy robes and matching slippers and heading for the very secluded hot tub. We were after a romantic retreat and a romantic retreat is certainly what we got! The hot tub is in ideal location on the grounds for an evening of relaxtion and the pictures online don't do justice to the maginficant view. Very peaceful. Each day was spent exploring the national park and each night was spent watching the stars! An ideal break from city living. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Sioned, we only wish we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be back soon!

- We stayed in Y-Beudy 9th - 13th February with close friends and must say that the photo's do not do this cottage justice at all, the views from the barn and hot tub were stunning. We had a perfect few days enjoying the near by walks taking in the waterfalls and forests in the surrounding ares. Perfect just perfect - come and see for yourself you wont be disappointed.

- We had a lovely time staying in the cottages in November. It may have rained the whole time but our holiday was great as the cottage was so nice and had everything we needed. Lots of nice little touches like the cake and tea on arrival and the whole place was delightful. We will be back! Thank you.

- We spent a lovely week in Y Beudy from 29th October. What a fantastic barn coversion. The cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped and we spent many lovely days simply relaxing and enjoying the views. At times the weather outside was wet and windy but this didn't spoil our holiday. Being in the hot tub at night under the stars was truly magical. We had lovely days out a Betws-y-coed and Llandudno.

- What a sensational view (in bright sunshine or mist) from the upstairs balcony of Tyddyn Lliw! It was exactly as shown on your gallery. The position allowed us to easily travel to Caernarfon Castle and to admire Snowdonia National Park on the way and was so peaceful.

- We have just had a fantastic break at Carreg Y Nant, with the views, accomodation and hot tub, we could not have asked for more. The cottage was perfect for a week away from home, very well equipped, with lovely touches like cake and tea/coffee/milk all there on our arrival. We loved the outside space too with a little stream running through the garden, a picnic table, and of course the hot tub, which we enjoyed every evening even in October! The cottages are far enough away from Bala that you do feel like you have escaped everyone, but close enough that we could pop into the town for food etc. Thank you Sioned for letting us into your little corner of Wales. We will be back!!

- Fab few days! We really enjoyed our time here. The early mornings watching the sun come up over the hills were amazing! Great food at the pub in the village only a short footpaths walk away and great fish n chips in Bala meant for a really relaxing time for mum - not having to cook! Would definately recommend Bryn Caled to anyone wanting a realxing break in North Wales. Thank you!

- We spent a wonderful week in Caryeg y nant in August with our 18month year old daughter. We were celebrating our honeymoon and really enjoyed our luxury holiday in a beautiful corner of Wales. The cottage was perfect and the hot tub was amazing. The outside space was also brilliant for our daughter. Thank you for your warm welcome and a fantastic stay.

- What a beautiful place to stay.Every little detail had been thought of and it was spotlessly clean. It was such a pleasure to come back to the house and relax in luxury in the hot tub and then wrap up in those lovely white fluffy dressing gowns! The memory of all five of us laughing in the hot tub watching the dark brooding clouds over the hills whilst the wind and the rain howled all around us still makes me smile - it was all a bit surreal! The garden was so pretty as well -again attention to detail unsurpassed with an orchard for kids to play in. We had such a warm welcome when we arrived-it really does make such a huge difference. Thanks so much and take care.

- 13th - 17th September 2010. This was our 2nd visit to Bryn Caled Cottages, the first time we spent the weekend in Y Beudy, since then the 2 other cottages have been built and we stayed in Carreg Y Nant which was just perfect for the 2 of us. We yet again had a fabulous time, the perfect start to married life! We will definately be back soon and continue to recommend the cottages to all of our friends. Thanks again Sioned, it was truely wonderful!

- We stayed in Y-Beudy 3rd - 9th September with close friends and must say that the photo's do not do this cottage justice at all, it is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail is brilliant and I must say that I cannot fault a thing. From the lovely welcome by Sioned to the beautiful sunrise over the hills whilst sat in the hot-tub, what more could you ask for? Thanks for the lovely hospitality and a wonderful weekend in Wales. - Thanks for such a warm welcome in your beautiful cottage. We were the unlucky ones to experience just one week full of rain, but the cottage has made the stay more than pleasant. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views were amazing. Also, all the information with what to do in the area which we received before the arrival was very useful. - If you are thinking about visiting one of these cottages, then book now - you won't regret it. We had a fantastic week staying in Tyddyn Lliw. The cottage is clean, light, modern, child friendly and very well equipped with a view that is simply stunning. Our children particularly loved the woodland play area and hot tub (as did we!). Sioned makes you feel very welcome and we left having had a brilliant family holiday with lots of great memories. We have already recommended the cottages to friends and family and will be booking again in the future. Thank you Sioned.

- These cottages are just simply lovely, and the warm welcome from Sioned and Gareth is part of the charming experience you will have staying in one of their cottages. We stayed in Careg Y Nant. Our baby and toddler were made very comfortable. They are one of the best places we have stayed in with our children. Sioned clearly cares passionately about them and it shows in the way they are designed and managed. We would definitely return and recommend it to all our friends and family. Our daughter loved being so close to the animals and having a play area was a real bonus. If you want peace and relaxation but don't want to be too isolated when you have little ones then this is an excellent choice. They are very clean and whilst the pictures do justice to the reality inside, what they don't quite show is the amazing view when you are in the cottage looking out. Our only concern is that they will get so popular we won't be able to get a booking again! Treat yourself and stay here. You will have no regrets!
